New workshop in Portugal in October
October will receive the LearnBIØN workshop Design and Build with Poured Earth.
The course will take place at Oficinas do Convento NGO in Montemor-o-Novo, Alentejo during four weeks.
Exploring this innovative technique that allows a building site to be fast and similar to a conventional one is the aim of this workshop. Designing formwork and formulating earth mixes with local earth while learning previously the basics of the earth mater. From empirical tests to laboratory tests enlarge your skills to recognise and be able to use the resources around you.
The workshop will end up with the construction of a tools’ storage at the Earth Laboratory at the scale 1:1.
It will take place from October 3rd till 30th.
